CLASS COOKOUT 2010

We had one heck of a good time at Hard Labor Creek State Park. Good food, fellowship and fun!!! 

We reconnected with our classmates once again, and caught up on old times, played horseshoes and cards. 

We laughed and jammed to some good old music.  Man, what a shin-dig.

We had 50+ people in attendance and more food than we could eat. Some photos of the action are  already posted.  My only regret is that so many people left before we took our class picture.

 Food: Fresh off the grill.         Ribs, Burgers, hotdogs, chicken, sausages.

Cost: $0. We just need you to bring the sides, utinsils, condiments, sodas and ice.

Please RSVP by Friday, April 30th, so that we can plan how much food to purchase and cook. 

There is a $5.00 per car Park Pass Fee at the front gate.

Bring your favorite lawn chair with you.

COOKOUT 2010 RUNDOWN 

My sincere thanks goes out to everyone who was able to attend our class cookout on Saturday, May 8, 2010.  Especially to those who showed up early and helped us to get things set up, and prepare the meat to be grilled, and the food setup.  Thank you Ronald Franklin for taking on the task of bringing a grill and cooking the food after working all night.  

It was great to talk and laugh and play with my classmates once again, and I will cherish this day for the rest of my life.  Jana Jackson introduced me to her husband Monty (Great Guy). David Callaway, I will always treasure your sense of humor.

Mary Ann Schell worked her butt off, as did Carl Norman, Vernon Tilson, Dennis Johnson and many others who helped organize things and clean up.  Thank you spouses for your hard work too.

Thank you Kathy, Betty, Rosie and Kathy for making us laugh so hard during your marathon horseshoe game. Ya'll might consider making a movie, or at least taking horseshoe lessons!!!

Ya'll let me know if you want to do this again next year, but we'll move it to another weekend other that Mother's day!!!
